Schools and Groups

We welcome visits from Schools and groups, and we aim to make the experience both enjoyable and educational for all Children. Knockhatch Adventure Park is home to a wide range of owls and animals which provide a great opportunity for children to learn about habitats. School trips are an effective teaching tool, giving children the chance to have a ‘change of scenery’ outside of the classroom.

More information about school and group visits to Knockhatch

A school or group trip to Knockhatch farm and adventure park is a fantastic way to open children's minds and to learning new things. Whether you’re a teacher, parent, group leader or guardian you will know that learning is all about discovery; and there’s no better place to discover new things than here at Knockhatch. We offer a range of learning activities which link in with the National Curriculum :-

  • talks and displays given by our animal handlers
  • hands-on activities with the opportunity to handle some of our smaller animals

Children will enjoy the chance to see animals up close in their different habitats, whilst at the same time being in a safe and managed environment, supervised by our staff. We also offer a range of fun outdoor and indoor activities so that your children can burn off some energy, hopefully wearing them out for the journey home!

With over 15 years' experience, we aim to make your visit as smooth as possible and offer flexibility to tailor the activities of your visit and according to your requirements.

REVIEW *****
The park was brilliant, all of the staff (really, ALL of them!) were helpful, cheerful and just generally wonderful. In particular Steven and Owen who work with the Birds of Prey. Genuinely passionate about their work, their knowledge is excellent.
