Farm Animals

Many of us were at some point taken to see animals at the farm, it’s a great memory that we’ve cherished for years. That’s why it’s so great to see so many children enjoying the farm animals at Knockhatch Adventure Park. Visiting our farm gives children the chance to see a variety of animals and mammals – they can even pet some of them if they like! Visiting us teaches kids all about the life cycle of animals: especially if you visit during the spring.

Come and visit the Knockhatch Farm

You can purchase animal feed at the entrance gate for 50p and feed our farm animals. Please remember to wash your hands afterwards!

Ole Knockhatch had a farm e-i-e-i-o and on that farm they had some:

  • Chickens
  • Coatis – Our Coati are called Taiya (mum) and Miya (daughter). They are mammals from the raccoon family, often called “Brazillian Weasel” and can be found over by the owl sanctuary
  • Cockatiels
  • Cows
  • Deer - Fallow Deer
  • Donkeys
  • Ducks and Geese
  • Emus
  • Goats
  • Guinea Pig
  • Horses
  • Llamas
  • Kookaburras
  • Meerkats
  • Miniature Ponies
  • Peafowls
  • Pheasants
  • Pigs – Including Peppa the pig located by the duck pond, and two KuneKune pigs that live over the other side of the farm by the deer enclosure.
  • Rabbits
  • Raccoon – Our Raccoon is called Rocket, and he can be found over by the owl sanctuary. Please do not be concerned if you see Rocket pacing. He was hand reared and is only trying to get to the human outside of the enclosure. Our vet says this is natural behaviour.
  • Skunk – Our Skunk is called Pepe and he can be found over by the owl enclosure
  • Wallabies - We have a fantastic Wallaby walk through for visitors, allowing access to get up close to feed & pet our wallabies.

REVIEW *****
We have just spent an amazing day at Knock hatch adventure park! I took my 2 children aged 8 and 5 and my friend took her 13 year old and 8 year old and there was sooo much for all of them to do!! It is brilliant value to get in at £12.99 per person or 3 of you for £31. 00... In that ticket price you can meet animals, go on lots of rides, a roller coaster simulator, swings, froggies play centre, quaderpillar ride and rowing boats on the lake... There's also lots of other things to do too including a massive play area with a dragon, dinosaur drop slide area, lots of animatronics and a water slide! I have to say all of the staff were so friendly! Any time I bought anything or went on a ride they all said enjoy your day in a really friendly polite manner! They were very chatty and helpful! You can see that all of the money goes back in to making the place better, adding new things and improving them! It's got huge since the last time I went! Food and drink is also very reasonably priced which Is lovely as you don't feel ripped off at the end of the day!! All in all a fantastic day out for all ages that thoroughly entertained all the kids as well as us mums that like to play too haha
