Prices : £100 per person (lunch included)

Duration : 5 ½ hours

Times : 10:30am - 4:00pm

The art of falconry dates back over 4000 years, weaving throughout history and into modern times. While no longer reserved for royalty alone, this once sport of kings is still revered and practiced by many. Raptors or birds of prey are a graceful and fascinating winged predator. They are all designed uniquely and in accordance to where they live and what they hunt, each with its own strengths and qualities.

This full day experience offers you the chance to see a large range of species such as owls, hawks, falcons and vultures up close and in action. . Delve into the physiological and psychological elements that motivate each species and how they differ from each other. You’ll be given the opportunity to fly many of them yourself under the guidance of an experienced trainer. This experience includes an hour Hawk Walk with one or more of our Harris Hawks.

Under 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

Maximum of 2 spectators

Must wear suitable clothing (trousers, long sleeves) and closed in shoes (High heels not acceptable)

Don’t forget your camera

Four day comprehensive training courses are available upon request.


*Our falconers are skilled in the art of falconry. Falconry is the sport of hunting with falcons, hawks and eagles. Why not come and see one of our birds of prey displays here at Knockhatch Adventure Park in East Sussex.
